Taste of McKinley:
Due to a lack of participants, we are cancelling next week's Taste of McKinley. We hope to hold this in the winter months next year in hopes that more will participate.
Summer Work Requests:
If you have any requests for summer work (painting, fixing, etc), please complete the linked form. If you are a classroom teacher, don't forget to look at your resource area/shared space, too. Also, please complete for any open classrooms in your team's pod. Please note this is a request -not all may be honored.
Class List Placement Process - reminder:
Just a reminder of where we are at in the process of 23-24 class lists -
- Special Ed, EL, Academic Achievement, and Rising Scholars are currently being pre-placed by those teams.
- May 8, classroom teachers will receive a spreadsheet to start data entry for students. These spreadsheets are similar to previous years.
- On May 15, we will begin class placement meetings to place remaining students and look at class needs and dynamics.
- May 23 - Specialists will "weigh in" on class lists.
Intellectual Safety Survey- trends
As you know, one of our action steps on the Vision Card was around students completing an intellectual safety survey. Linked below is some of the data collected (by you). I know there have been many emails about staffing, so I thought I'd condense all the certified changes into one spot:

2nd Grade - 4 sections (Larson, Hadler, Seath, Seifert)
3rd Grade - 3 sections (Wilke, Eickhoff, Furniss)
4th Grade - 4 sections (Oppegard, Baumann, Staloch, and new hire)
5th Grade - 3 sections (Gallatin, Gilligan, Rypka)
Montessori - 2 sections (Bricko, Van Roekel)
PE - Smith, Melcher, Waletich
Music - Huse, Miller-Dunbar
Art - Stowman
Special Education - Herbst, Schlueter, Lang, new hire (Nystrom to District SST)
